Reading

I forgot to mention that I'm enjoying dipping into Fowler's Modern English Usage, 2nd ed. (1965). Many entries quite amusingly dry.

    I love Fowler. And it has to be one of the old editions. In the more recent ones, he got too conciliatory. I like the curmudgeonly version.
