Yes, we finally got away to a little inn right in midtown. All these photos are the handiwork of L; this view is looking down from our porch outside our rooms.
A peek into L's room, which opened right up to the porch; D and I were told to be quiet, as we were too raucous, I guess, during our pre-dinner glass of wine drinking.
We went here and had a lovely time, looking at all the plants.
We fought the urge, and followed the directive below:
Tranquility . . .

The calmness of the water, the views, wow, what a special spot this is!
Tranquility - beauty.....
looks like a wonderful place to go for that much needed tranquility.
It looks and sounds perfect. Hope you enjoyed the rest.
I love the different colors of the last two photos.
The final picture has a wonderful aura of peace ...
What a nice place you visited, so peaceful, and isn't it nice to have a change of scenery from time to time! Does the heart good, I think.
BTW I posted pics of The Wedding, perhaps I will post some more tomorrow. We had such a great time, I'm exhausted!
i like the porch picture. L has your eye, maybe, for photography?
and the last pic. is wonderful. Sounds like a good trip?
Oh, this place looks wonderful....
that last photo is absolutely breathtaking.
What brilliant pictures!
Yes, I did change the photos. I found one of Wils that I love and also the one of the Lama by himself.
Off in a couple of hours. It's chaos here as workmen are digging up the drive and a new water main is being installed. I hate what they are doing to the garden and the plumber is in and out while I am trying to shower and pack!
Men, hey?
I'll do a posting on Holy Island when I get back.
Lorenzo.
This looks like a lovely relaxing trip....
Sounds a nice trip!
If you have a room for me, I will be right there!
