At 9 a.m. Feb 19

I'll begin to endure my dental procedure. I can put it off no longer; I'm experiencing twinges and some pain intermittently in the lower left furthest molar. I wish I were hiding away somewhere, but I have to face the music of the drill . . . and the expense of the crown.

Aw, crap! I picked the WORST time to recount R's tooth trouble, didn't I?

Poor you - hope it all goes well and QUICKLY!

I used to hate the dentist so so so much.
There is no way to justify the expense in my head, but I started to go to a dentist who specializes in 'treating the apprehensive.' I get a warm blanket, I take a xanax, he stops work frequently to see how I'm doing...the whole experience is different.
Anyway - enough about me...I hope you do okay. You never know, maybe it won't be too bad!

I have a brilliant dentist who is so kind and I have been going to her for about twenty five years. My teeth are crap after having four children, so I go every three months to make sure the gums are behaving. Great believer in preventative medicine.
How is Mary doing?
