Where did you find this piece? I've played a modern chaconne written for piano and double bass, but never heard this one. I love organ music!

tut-tut, you just improved my Monday. This is awesome!

That is beautiful. Sometimes "church-y" music is just the thing.

I know the Pachelbel canon but have not heard this one before..it's soothing but...you know...I still prefer the canon. Even though you hear it everywhere these days it's still sublime.
I wonder what 20th century compositions will endure as long..

Another big fan of the canon here, but this is good too. Very relaxing - just what I was needing today.

It's beautiful!

I had a great massage therapist who used to play this piece while working.

ONLY this piece. After awhile, I switched therapists.

There's a Rock Mix, Club Mix and Trance Mix if you want to be a little less 'Churchy' frankly, I like it without the doof doof!

Pachelbel has followed me around lately: I was walking through an exhibition of string instruments in Venice, accompanied by his Canon in D Major (my March 7 post) and I heard the same music again far up in the mountains, where the village priest was playing it on the organ!
