Music Monday!

Ah, the good old days, when Dylan was still a human being and not an icon. I still like his music, and I like the music he's still putting out, but I'll never go to one of his concerts again. He treats his audiences like dirt, and apparently considers public appearances to be contractual obligations that he needs to get over with as quickly as possible. I'll stick to listening to him on CD.

Wow. So young. Can you identify any of the other people in the video? I recognized Donovan but none of the others.

Sent this to my husband who has loved Dylan always. This is such a great song; a love song. Thank you.

I missed my chance to see Dylan in person last year. I deeply regret it.

Dylan is wonderful in his NY concerts--I see him sometimes twice in one year if he comes thru the tri state area --after 9/11 I saw him in NYC --he told the audience how much he loved NYC --that the city meant a lot to him. he tells old stale jokes and gets ripped apart the next day in the online reviews though, He was very sweet up in Bethel, joking that he'd been at the original Woodstock Concert and how muddy it was- (got criticized for that joke too) -shy performers shouldn't have to apologize for being shy or silent or reclusive-- I like how he joked with Joan Osborne at one concert, though.

Isn't this extract featured in "Don't Look Back" or "No Direction Home?"

It's funny, I didn't like Dylan that much when I was young(er) but now I can't live without him.
