On searching for information on Nicole Krauss, I discovered a lot of jealousy out there, critics praising her while bemoaning her privileged upbringing, her famous writer husband (Jonathan Safran Foer), etc. etc. But I just finished The History of Love, so wonderful it made me weep. Here she is talking about her new book, Great House.

I can't wait to read it...she sounds incredibly interesting just as herself...it is interesting about this bemoaning about having a privileged upbringing. To me, that is no different then disliking someone for being born poor. Same coin, different side.
THanks for this recommendation. You have no idea how well timed this is for me concerning inheritances from our parents.
