I'm interested in your habit changing and have thought myself about the pilates/ yoga/ time issue. On the whole I'm for it. I simply wouldn't stick it out for an hour on my own, though I know people who do. Then there's the social side of the activity - I've met some lovely like minded women at classes. And the getting there on a bike is a satisfying way to exercise. Lightening the load in other ways is something definitely worth addressing and that is on my evergrowing list!
Tea cosies - I always buy mine at charity shops and imagine them knitted by old ladies with a cat on their lap in front of the fire. I especially favour the ribbed ones. Have you tried Ravelry for a free pattern?

Happy New Year to you too. Could this be a year of renewed blogging? Time and months will tell...
