because I met my first blogger in person! Stacie came in to the shop to show us her great jewelry; what a wonderful person. So talented, enthusiastic, and downright pretty.
I was worried a bit, as I always am before a new situation presents itself, but I certainly needn't have been. Having read each other's blogs had already broken the ice, and I felt I already knew her. She has dived right in, gotten to know people, and already has a studio. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her, as she and her husband plan on settling down here.
I'm off next week with L, going here. This will be our fourth year, and we're both anticipating another great week.

You lucky kid.
have so much fun at jccampbell... i spent a week at arrowmont 2 years ago and still think it might have been the best week of my life - loved it.
Isn't it funny how you can meet someone you've known but never met? What a crazy world we have made.
Have fun on your course. What will you be learning?
MD: We're doing photography, so we'll be using the darkroom!
Have a wonderful time.
Hello... I met Stacie recently too and, as before all meetings of new folks, I was a bit nervous too. No need for that! We talked like we had known one another for years! It was amazing. She is the nicest, most gracious person I've met in a long time. Glad you got to experience that too.
xo,
KB :)
Learning is wonderful. Have a great time.
Knitting in new directions?
Lucky you and lucky Stacie.
The blogger world is such a great place.
The Folk School looks like something I would enjoy... a LOT! So have lots of fun.
Isn't it true when we meet someone from the blogworld it feels like we have known them forever?
Hello tut-tut!
I think you are back now or soon.
We can surely see your photos, I am waiting :)
I am also back now more or less. Everything seems to be well in my eye in this moment. No allowed to read yet, but knitting is quite all right, fortunately :)
Thank you for mentioning Finland and my blog in your former post!
And thank you Susa for this URL of Finnish knitter, her blog is interesting! And she has been in Joensuu - my town - in this summer.
I've met people in person before that I only knew on the Internet. It's kind of a strange experience. You feel like you really know them-and you do-but no one has ever been as I thought they would be in person. They always look totally different.
The artistic place you are going looks really great. I'd love to do a photography course somewhere, especially if they taught photoshop.
looks great, i hope you will blog about it.
All my blog-meets so far have been wonderful - and like meeting old friends.
Photography...sounds interesting and fun. Have a good time and show us your photos when you get back..
Angela
