River run; Prelude

The river was absolutely beautiful yesterday; I have some pictures to post tomorrow of the Susan G. Komen race, but here are two preliminary ones. The race was partially along the river walk.

L and K walk down the River Walk toward their spot to play; one selection was, puzzlingly, Leaving on a Jet Plane.

The quartet played while the runners ran by. There was a lot of "woo-ing" from the runners in response to their playing. Yea, girls! And a saintly Mrs. B, who organized the whole thing, remained for the entire time. A group of fraternity boys stopped by, but the girls gave them the cold shoulder . . .

Those activities sounds fun, but it has to be always someone, who organize. You have found somebody, that`s great.

Now I will take a break because of my different kind of other projects,
But I have done this a couple of times and never breaks have been so long as I have thought.
We will see now :)

I have about 300 paper photos waiting for organizing them to albums to every grandchildren - five !! I will do it before Christmas.

Take care!

The Race for the Cures were good in Houston, Atlanta and NYC. There isn't one here in Santa Fe. I didn't think of what I was missing until your post... pretty pics.

How long is the race? Look forward to piccies of it.

Yes I agree about Wallmart. They are even over here now disguised as Asda! I understand Tesco is invading the States as well.

Actually it is hard to say no to an old lady in a wheelchair. That's why I bought her the fags!

Lorenzo.
