Ah, tut! Thanks so much, that was just beautiful! Bird was a gem we lost far too soon. I especially like "All the Things You Are"; that was with Dizzy Gillespie, and the tune was their signature piece. Bird and Diz were just magic together.
Oh dear, I can't open the videos, I have to download something.... ever since I had some computer problems, I've lost the ability to see videos, will have to consult the technical experts (my sons).
Sorry I missed music Monday, better late than never. My iPod (I got one for my b'day) has some Charlie P. on it. (mostly old bluesmen tho with their raggedy wonderful voices)

The part of my brain that could make music was omitted during construction.
I do love to listen, though. Plus, how do you not love the name Thelonious?

I have trouble with this kind of jazz. I really WANT to like it, though.

I wish I was inclined to listen to music on the computer - I'd rather hear it on the stereo.

I love this stuff and could listen to it for hours - thanks for my morning enjoyment! Hugs!
What a delightful interlude. I love jazz too. Thank you. The perfect musical accompaniment to......mash potatoes actually.
Cheers
If Charlie Parker was a gunslinger, there'd be a whole lotta dead copycats!
I have to hook up the speakers to the laptop more often...
I love old jazz too. It moves me. Takes me back to a time that I know nothing of but feel it anyway.
