rainy afternoon

I've been working all day, and got two chapters done. Cats are curled up, so I went out to breathe a little spring. And reflect . . .

L takes her driving test today, if she isn't rained out. We may have another driver in the family by 4:30 or so . . .

Update: and we do! She successfully passed

I used to wear contact lenses that looked like those raindrops...

(used to love looking up in the rain and get spatters on them... everything rimpled slightly to the pleasantest degree...)

Hey I'm back sorry have done barely any commenting at ALL in the past week+... hope all's well your end...

Love the leaves--you'd love Lady's Mantle (you probably have some, right?) somebody gave me a clump from their yard and I love it. the top pic made me think of it.

ate thai food today for $1.00 (chicken satay)

Squirrel:

It does look like Lady's Mantle (which I don't have), but it's nasturtium.
Kudos on your budget meal!

I remember when my children got their driver's licenses. Now it won't be too long-5 years-until my first grandchild gets his. Life moves on.

Congrats and good luck to your new driver! :-)
It's been raining all night after a thunderstorm went through in the early evening. Mother Nature truly needed it. You raindrop pictures are lovely!
