dreams

A college writing professor of mine told us, "No one wants to read about your dreams," but mine last night were so clear. My mother and grandmother were there; we were all going somewhere, a particular where, down roads I recognized until I woke up, and all the animals were back, alive and alert, noses quivering in the gathering twilight. You know how they can always smell a rabbit, or a porcupine . . . and the lake spread out, clear and black.

Dreams can be very special things especially when they involve loved ones and old remembered places. Your friends plight will be mentioned in prayers from England.

I'm not very good at interpreting dreams. Do you have any idea what it could mean?

In addition to the actual content of the dream, I am always interested in my state of mind when I wake up. A few months ago I had a flying dream, and I felt powerful and delighted with life for days after. More recently I had a dream wherein my husband and I were have marital problems, and I found it difficult to face the day when I woke up. Luckily, I seem to have many more dreams of the positive or at least neutral type.

It always amazes me that crazy unlikely wild things happen in dreams and it doesnt seem crazy or unlikely or wild at the time, only when we remember it later.
I love dreams, it's better than going to the movies!

I think your professor was wrong too. I liked hearing about your dream and your writing of it with those twiching noses.

Keep on telling about your dreams. They can be so beautiful but sometimes I've had really sad ones and woken up with tears running down my face and into my ears.
I lit a candle for your friend this morning.
Love Lorenzo.

To dream and believe, to share dreams and know their beauty. To trust yourself and lead others! Bravo!
