When we were crate training Betsy, our trainer suggested puttting a treat and special toys/chewies in there so that she thought of it as a "happy place"
Another tip is that when they do have an accident, point at the mess and yell at the mess, not the dog, because sometimes they forget what they did after a minute! You just have to take them outside as often as you can and praise to the heavens when they do their job. Later you can increase the time between outings.
Good luck - the few weeks of hassle is SO worth it!!

Adorable. Especially when sleeping :-)

She's just gorgeous. This cat person has been won over.
Sleep while the baby is sleeping!
Awww bless her. Cute overload here! (at least she's quiet . .) Have the yippities stopped?
Oh what a darling baby! All her trespasses are forgiven!
She's a beauty...I hope all of you survive the puppy training and crating.
