Music Monday

We listen to this song a lot when we are driving!
I had fun in ohio, more coming from tut-tut on that front.

Good Morning Tut Tut and L,

Thanks for the Michele Shocked tune. It is a favorite! I'm glad you had such a good trip and got home safely. Which schools did you visit besides Oberlin???

I like that. SHe reminds me a little of Natalie Merchant.

Neat! I've always liked Michelle Shocked, and Anchorage has some personal pleasant memories attached.

Welcome back, tut-tut! Nice, relaxing tune. I must start amassing tunes for my road trip.

Welcome back Tut,
That singer reminds me of a very young John Lennon...with her face and her hat.
It's always good to come home safe from a road trip.
What were the gas prices out there?

one of my favorite ms tunes....em and I used to listen to it lots on road trips....michelle's tunes are purrfect for driving.

we had the pleasure of seeing her fairly recently at the cozy beachland ballroom here in cleveland....a wonderful reason to live in the area! we mentioned this music venue to you tut-tut, it's the place that was the slovenia social club!

we had a great time with you and miss you!! we have a new fantasy going l will choose oberlin and tut-tut and mr. dad will not be able to stand being so far away and will realize that despite some chilly weather cleveland is a good place to live! hey, what's that they say one can dream!!

Good driving tune.

Is it MY music and YOUR music or are you of one mind about music?

Barbara: Often we are of one mind about music; but just as often, not! In which case, I tune into something in my head or the radio/CD is tuned into something else.

Tut-Tut,

You visited some great schools. L has a lot to pick from! I'm happy for her. I picked my college from a catalogue---being several thousand miles away from the U.S. and really wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. There was no opportunity to visit before being accepted, as air fare was costly.

I'm glad you liked the trees, however, they are not in Texas, and though I've visited several places there, they were in the southern part, which is mostly open, flat and hot, and I never saw trees like these there. Perhaps I was in the wrong place. If you really like trees, California Redwoods are spectacular, especially Muir preserve (I'll have to dou
ble check the name) in northern California. I visited there in the days before digital photography and none of the pics came out!

Great song for the road!

I remember when I wore Converse low and high tops and those tiny skinny jeans. That was awhile ago.

I love Music Mondays!!
