Sundry, and various

This is what emerged from the extruding pasta maker:

a gloppy mess. D smooshed it up and kneaded it. I was able to use my usual pasta roller to salvage the dough and turn it into satiny sheets, that are drying now so I can cut them.

I will not be vanquished!

Just a little shot of our return trip from our visit to the luthier:

My ex had a pasta maker when we first married. We used it a couple of times, but I was never convinced the pasta was any better than what we could buy, and boy, was it messy and time-consuming.

Not only bread, but pasta, too! My brother-in-law makes his own pasta and it's really good.
Your satiny sheets look so much nicer than the little extruded bits. They'd make a good lasagne (Yum!)

For someone such as myself, 24 days into my wheat fast, that pasta looks DELICIOUS!! It's all a matter of perspective, eh?

Brava!!

The question is, did you come back from the luthier's avec ou sans violoncelle?

Mee too. Wanna see the cello.

Pretty funny that you had to get the dinosaur out to tame the rascal!
