My loom now resides in Studio C; I've woven 20 inches or so in tabby on my scarf that was to be place mats (but it's pink, so I don't know what I was thinking when I started out to make place mats). I'm pleased that I'm making progress.
My knitting has been idle, though. I've got to get back to it.
I'm looking for a loom bench, Harrisville, the small one.

i hope we'll see pics of your weaving? its never ending, the things I want to try and learn and experiment with in textiles....
good luck with finding your bench
Good Friday morning to you, Beth!
I took yesterday my knitting macine and started to knit woollen clothes
to baby.Doing things by the macine is not enjoyable, but no I can also take some pictures and put them to blogs.
And it is a nice feeling, when something is ready to ear or look at.
I wish you relaxing, happy weekend!
I almost bought a loom this week, a 45" Leclerc 4-harness jack loom, with extra shuttles and bobbins (do looms have bobbins? I know nothing) and bench (handmade by seller's father) and maybe other stuff I don't remember. But after heavy pondering I decided to spend the $800 on knit camp next summer. I have always wanted a loom but when I am really honest with myself I don't know that I would make enough use of it to justify the expense and space.
But please show us your weaving!
