The end

of NaBloPoMo! My Internet connection is sketchy today, so this is my final bow. Nothing more, until perhaps tomorrow . . .

You asked how we found our Florida Beach House that we stayed in... well, we just searched the internet till we found something the right price and the right location, then booked it via email, sight unseen. It could have been a real dump, but you have to take that risk. It turned out to be ideal, owned by a young couple who use it themselves for beach holidays, even thought they only live about 6 miles away.

Good weekend to you, Beth!

You did good. I think it must have been a really long haul, especially with Thanksgiving in there. Good luck on your new editing job. Doesn't sound fun.

Hi Tuts. Been reading what you said on Shammy's blog.
I love turtles too and I get so angry and upset when I hear to poor little creatures get killed by plastic bloody bags.
I refuse to ever have a plastic bag and I carry my proper shopping bags with pride!! I have quite a few, nice linen ones, hemp ones and a very big 'handbag' thingy that carries my purse, phone and the paraphanalia that lady llamas like to carry about with them.
Can you direct me to a web site that will tell me more about how to save the turtles. I already belong to Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth.
Hugs, Lorenzo.

Just dropping by to say that your comment about Elizabeth Bowen as an author made me laugh ... "no, she is not very cozy." So, you must know of her and have read her? I wonder if I will pick up another of her books ... not sure she would be a top favorite of mine but possible ... have a great day.

I have been known to stop traffic to help a turtle cross the road (always point them in the direction they are going).

This site should point the way:
