cookbook stack

I'm using these recently; have you used any of these?

It's a dangerous thing, having access to Amazon.co.uk, let me tell you . . .

I don't even know about any of those. I hope you will post about each one and tell how you like it. I give Amazon.uk alot of business myself. It saves me a long drive to the nearest bookstore but it's not the same.

Your stack of cookbooks looks so tempting. I am unfamiliar with them all.

A Year in my Kitchen could be from my Blue Café :-)

I don't know any of them either. Hope you'll tell us how you get on. I am a Delia Smith fan myself - she seems to be the only one who's recipes I can follow without mishap.

I don't do a lok of cooking during the summer, makes the kitchen too hot, but I love to get cookbooks from the library and read them and plan sumptuous meals.... some of them actually happen, most of them just stay in my brain until I read the next cookbook...

I'm completely kitchen-challenged, so those books would be afraid to cross my doorstep. :)

Come along now , you're straining the bifocals a tad.
But yes, Amazon should be banned. Do you think that there might be some therapy for the truly addicted?
Cheers

Hi Tut. No I haven't any of these books. I tend to make recipes up as I go along, sometimes with disasterous results!
I am still remembering your friend with candles.
Lorenzo.

That means so much, Lorenzo. Thank you.

It's dangerous having access to Amazon, full stop!

I sure know what you mean about access to online booksellers. My particular favorite is bn.com....
Your cookbooks look quite interesting, though I have not seen them personally. Next to travel narratives, cookbooks are my favorite things to peruse...regrettably (or maybe fortunately?) I seem to prefer reading them to actually cooking something using a recipe from one...

Someone with access to my credit card keeps ordering books from Amazon to be sent here!
Lucky for me they're exactly the books that I would buy if I were to be so extravagant!
