the first video is only funny/understandable if you've ever suffered through the extreme hell that is AP Chemistry.

I still can't get the sound but isn't EP fabulous, even watching without the sound.
Have you seen the film La Mome about her. I think it's subtitled in English if necessary..

They've got Piaf singing how she ne regrettes rien on an opticians commercial with subtitles saying she wished she'd got 2 frames for £75 etc etc... it is fairly amusing

That Piaf song always gives me shivers.

That reminds me of freshman year in college. The first day of Chemistry class, the professor told us it would be the hardest class we'd ever have, and we'd work like mad and be lucky to get a B. So after class, I returned my books to the bookstore and dropped the class.

No regrets. That's actually my life policy.

Hello, it's Tuesday 20th January, the day you and possibly half the known world has been waiting for so I thought I'd pop by and leave a little comment. Good Morning America it's a new day...

My high school didn't offer AP classes. I was regretting that, until now! :)

Piaf is one of my favorites...

Oh I love Edith Piaf. Tiny woman, magnificent voice.

What happened to the girl they discovered after her death Mireille Mathieu I think her name was.

AP Chem!
I'm with Kurt-- wouldn't want to mess up my grade point average. I was very careful about that.

ap chemistry class... you gotta be kidding, I actually almost blew up my h.s. chemistry lab - was lucky to get out with a c-

I did however marry a ph.d chemist and now defer all chemical queries to my man....

piaf - oui, magnifique!
