Wedding

I feel I've finally come up for air. My neighbor got married on Saturday; here are a few images. I think I need to burn a disk for her. Some of the photos weren't half bad, if I do say so myself. I was able to get some from a different perspective from most of the other guests with a camera, who were on the ground, as I viewed the ceremony from a balcony.

Memorial Day is always solemn, I've found, and today is no different.

I'll be back to normal reading and commenting tomorrow.

I am trying to figure out how the Lego cake topper knight (pronounced "kuh-nigget" a la Monty Python) relates to a wedding. What is the tall black thing, and where is the bride figure?

I think the black think is supposed to represent the bride! But why does the knight look like he's about to attack it?

In any case, looks like a beautiful location!

yes, the little black figure represents the bride. The action figure is the bride's son's. He creates elaborate set-ups with those. Interesting that it's a knight in attack mode . . .

And a good time was had by all, wot? Nice set-up, tut-tut! And I feel the solemness, as well( and the passing train, just now )!

Believe it or not: word verification for me= cater

Was the reception at an art gallery? How interesting, if so!

yes Megan; bride is gallery assistant. Actually, I believe she's going to LA to set up an exhibit at some point.
