kindred being

It just poured today; when I went out behind the house apres le deluge I was startled to discover

deciding how to proceed. I put him (I think red eyes signify a male) in the woods, in a different direction from the path he was taking. (Which is not what you are supposed to do; if you see a turtle crossing the road, take it to the other side. He/she wants to go in a straight trajectory. And please do stop and aid this ancient animal.)

At least she

didn't come across this visitor and bother him.

Interesting link about Solstice and Stonehenge.
We have been wondering those stones in Scotland, I have even pictures about my children and Stonehenge.
Our Midsummer Festivals have been also dancing around big fires and still is, something memories about very old times before Christianity.
And now days have started to shorten.
This turtle is something special to you :)
Have a nice week!
we had yesterday
warm and sunny, today the temperature is 9 degrees Celsius ( 48,2 Fahrenheit ) and it`s raining.
this is our summer, very much changing weathers.)

Sort of mystical and magical to find a tortoise.
