pantry

Sandy's post suggested a view of other people's pantry's. I don't have a room devoted to storing things; I have an old jelly cabinet that I got in New England that gives a surprising amount of room. I keep lots of dried beans, baking stuff, chips chocolate and vanilla--just lots of essentials

And I have cupboards full of nonessential essentials as well. Even marshmallow fluff . . .

Love the jelly cabinet. Domino sugar...is that a southern thing! I have it in my pantry as well.

the jars are aesthetically pleasant.

and who says marshmallow fluff isn't essential? They obviously have never drunk hot cooca with my boys...

Marshmallow Fluff now that is something I need to get some more of. It isn't readily available here and I only know of one shop that stocks it Larners in Holt. Now there is a good excuse for a little shopping trip!

The best thing is looking in people's cupboards and not recognising what's in there. What's marshmallow fluff, by the way? Sounds delicious and exactly the sort of thing I should avoid.

oh i was going to ask about Marshmallow fluff too!

thanks for saying hello - I've enjoyed visiting your blog. No signs or sounds of creaking that I could spot.

I have so few cupboards that it is dangerous to open one. I'm always having to plow through things to find what I need. You do have alot of jars as someone said. I have mainly cans and lots of little spice jars.
