Ched: Yes, it's a wonderful sculpture that is positioned so he seems to be just taking off, over the river. I'll post some others, soon, as there are more sculptures in this delightful, private but open to the public, sculpture garden.

Tut Tut, when you visit here, we can go to Storm King Sculpture Park-- it's pretty Mod sculpture-wise, on 400 acres . You could easily spend a whole day there.

I'd love to hear about your time in France too.

Nice. Walking as art.

The Icarus/Angel mind you seems to have some subtext about him if you see what I mean. Anyway, he seems to be diving in, or perhaps hoping to glide.

Looks like Icarus is about to crash into that Sycamore (?) before he even gets to fly too close to the sun! Great walk.
