Dental

I have returned, shaken but not stirred. My tooth, though, is on the fence, so to say. It has its temporary crown (a lengthy, grinding process, but NOT painful), but there are fissures within that may compromise its future. But I'm getting a gold crown for the permanent, so there's that . . .

I hope my jaw remains pain free.

Another crown is on the horizon.

D was not pleased with the bill.

Root canal is meant to be the worst...

right I still have 2 legs. not eating shepherd's pie (yet) .. everyone seems to assume I will end up in hospital I don't see why I can't just pop antibiotic pills instead of IV ones...

they WOULD NOT SEE ME AT ALL and referred me to a walkin centre which is miles and miles away I got another referral to a better hospital (the 1st referral has a seriously bad rep)... basically got directed back to the drugs service which WILL see me if I've been referred on back... they aren't a first line treatment agency for abscesses and health probs though

i am fine though it does hurt and is getting really no better i have no idea really whether i will end up hooked up on a drip which i'm kind of dreading though NO WAY ON EARTH will that stop me smoking at least 10 cigs a day (I've seen loads of people taking their drips down with them to outside in the lifts... wearing pajamas... quite hilarious...) unless i literally am 1/2 dead

ps it is really sweet for you to worry about me and I do appreciate it maybe from a different angle than you're coming from (because junkies have sideways feelings) but please don't waste all your energy on me there is nothing you can do to heal my problem. I appreciate friendship and support but you must understand I have been taking heroin for about 10 yrs and been solidly addicted for the last 7... sorry am i running down "patronizing alley"... didn't mean to ... you know what i mean i think

Glad the procedure was less than painful. Except for the bill part; that is unavoidable.

oh, we had a bad dental day too -
the BILL.

It seems one can get an awful lot of cavities under ones braces.

Keeping my fingers crossed for that tooth...

Oh you poor thing! Dentists are my worst fear - even thinking about it gives me the shakes!
