Out . . .

Sometimes we do go to a restaurant. We've been liking this one recently. Plus, if you sit by the window, you can catch sight of the river.

A partial view of the menu:

L likes fresh-squeezed juice; they do grapefruit and orange.

I mean to get some wine glasses like this one; I like the way they feel in my hand.

D waiting . . .

For some reason, this reminds of the entrance to something other than what it is:

like a subway . . .

I love short squatty glasses, too; for some reason they make me feel sophisticated. Currently my favorite wine glass, though, is a plain el cheapo straight-sided 7-oz. glass, the kind you might see used in a bar in a 1940s movie. It also reminds me of what table wine is sometimes poured into in French cafes in old movies.

Letty: I was just crocheting up my bag today! I don't crochet, so it was a learning project. My spinning is going slowly; I've yet to ply.
